Our Story

Built different.

Built to last.

Branch Side Records was born from a belief that the independent path is the most powerful one. Founded by JJ Magix — Austin-based producer, artist, and sound engineer.

"Bro, really refreshed my whole sound and approach to music. I will forever be grateful for that."
— Curt Legacy

Branch Side is now a collective spanning Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Indie Pop, and Indie Rock — unified by the same hunger and the same standard.
